We are thrilled with our experience that our loved one has had at Whitney Place. The staff at Whitney Place have been wonderful to care for my loved one. Whitney Place combines all the comforts and more convenience than you could ever find at home. It’s a warm and gracious setting for seniors needing a little help with daily routines, featuring private or shared apartments.Residents receive individual attention from our nurses, dedicated... The community has an older resident group and there are not a lot of younger seniors.

Seeing them smile and being part of moments where they share a lovely thought or reminisce about their lives has been wonderful and makes me think of the words “Love what you do, and you never work a day in your life”. I feel very honoured to be joining the team at Southborough Nursing Home and am looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful staff and residents, and learning about their life experiences. I completed my Master’s in Adult Nursing at King’s College London and previously studied for my undergraduate degree in Health and Environmental Sciences at UCL. I have experience in many care and hospital settings and previously as Deputy Manager in a Residential Home in Newbury.

Our loved one was only there for a short time but during that time this community was kept very clean. The communication with the nursing staff was a bit disjointed. It was pretty good value compared to other communities in the surrounding area. They offer a lot of care services, but we felt that we had to remind them to do certain services our loved one needed like giving them their medication or helping with their laundry.
